Lake Victoria Children (LVC) is a community based Organization working at the grassroots to support the disadvantaged and most vulnerable children on Ukerewe Island in the heart of Lake Victoria. Founded in 2009 LVC reaches and supports over 2,800 disadvantaged children and their families annually through holistic interventions across Health, Education and Community development positioning ourselves as the strongest and immediate link of children to child support networks available on the Island and beyond.

Health Insurance Scheme The LVC Health Insurance Scheme is a vital part of the Health Program, the Scheme guarantees children access to health services in the most cost effective way compared to conventional treatment procedures. Children requiring long term treatment are best served by Scheme which is subject to annual renewals.
